Queer by Queer Nation was founded in the San Francisco Bay Area in 2018 by Lafia Morrow. QBQ Nation was created to help bridge the gaps that have long divide our own LGBTQ+ community.
One of the biggest issues Queers face is the feeling of not belonging. Growing up can be difficult for so many Queer folks not being able to be themselves, or if they are able to be their true selves, they are left out of so many conversations. Our rights, identities, and 'lifestyles' are forever up for debate by our government, peers and even our own family members.
The Queer by Queer Nation is a place where everyone who identifies under the umbrella term 'Queer' belongs. You belong here! One Nation Under Queer, with justice and equality for all. Queers and people of color have always been at the forefront of fighting for equality. We are stronger in numbers and it will take every member of this Nation to bring us all together in peaceful unity.
Founder, Lafia Morrow, is a Queer POC masculine woman whose experiences growing up while navigating a straight white community, have compelled them to build and bridge all walks of life.
